Pupils
Our school's ethos and values:
Mission Statement
At Stubbins Primary School, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment
where learners are encouraged to explore their passions; develop their talents; and achieve their full potential.
Through effective learning experiences, we foster a life-long love of learning,
empowering learners to become critical thinkers, problem solvers and compassionate individuals.
By providing a strong foundation of knowledge, skills and values,
we are dedicated to preparing our learners for success in an ever-evolving world.
Together, as a vibrant community of learners, we nurture, grow and flourish.
NURTURE-GROW-FLOURISH
We encourage pupils to accept roles within school. Throughout school, children may apply for the role of School Council representative. These roles are applied for and are then voted for by their peers, inline with our commitment to promoting the Britsh Value of DEMOCRACY.
The School Council is run by Miss Barington and regular meetings are held to discuss school priorities.
In the summer term of Year 5, children are invited to apply for the role of prefect. The children write a lette rof application and are interviewed for the role. The children then spend Year 6 acting as ambassadors for the school both in school and out in the community. These children are role models to our younger children and act as a guiding figure in the school. Each term, we also appoint a Head Boy and Head Girl to assume a figure head role for school events.
In the Autumn Term of 2024, we were proud to announce Elliot and Tess to the role of Head Boy and Head Girl. Well done!
